While staying in the mysterious East, golden-haired Lorna Morel plans to ride alone to the Oasis of Fadna, where her father had once lived in a desert house. Unfortunately, her adventure results in an attempted abduction by a swarthy bearded brute. He is soon confronted by a group of horsemen, immediately aware of the crime he has just committed. The leader, Kasim ben Hussayn, soundly flogs Lorna's kidnapper and then takes her back to his encampment.
